The heart of the book

What if the gap is not between what you know and what you need to learn?

What if the real gap is between what you say you believe and the way you actually live?

Who God Is

Faith begins with the character of God, not with our ability to hold everything together.

How God Speaks

We learn to recognize what God has already made known through Scripture, truth, and the life of faith.

The Way of Response

Belief becomes visible when trust moves from something we affirm to something we practice.

“The goal is not to collect more faith. It is to live from the faith you already have.”

About the book

For Christians who know the answers but still struggle to live like they are true.

The Faith You Already Have is about closing the distance between belief and response. It is not a call to know less. It is an invitation to trust what God has already revealed enough to let it shape the next decision, the next fear, the next act of obedience, and the next ordinary day.

This is a book for readers who have spent years around Scripture and church, but still find themselves asking why familiar truth can feel so difficult to live.

  • Ground faith in the character of God.
  • Recognize the ways belief and daily life drift apart.
  • Move from agreement with truth toward active trust.
  • Respond faithfully without waiting to feel perfectly ready.

About the author

Kevin Lorance

Kevin Lorance is a husband, dad, Bible teacher, and church leader who writes about the places where Christian belief meets ordinary life. He has spent years leading Bible studies and teaching in his local church, helping people wrestle honestly with what it means to trust God beyond the things we say we believe.

The Faith You Already Have grew out of that same conviction: spiritual growth is not only about discovering something new. Often, it is about trusting God enough to live what we already know.
